Setting Up Outlook Express

We recommend Thunderbird for all email needs because it's less prone to hack attacks than Outlook and it's just better. Not convinced? Read on to setup Outlook Express 6.0 with CalicoHosting.com. Please note that because there are different versions of Outlook these instructions might vary slightly from what appears on your screen. If that happens, take a few seconds to poke around and you'll be able to get past any inconsistencies.

This won't take long at all.

  1. Open Outlook Express. At this point, Outlook Express will either open to the summary screen, or it will open a pop up wizard to help you setup your email account. If you do not see the wizard click the 'Tools' menu at the top of the page and then select 'Accounts...'. Click on the 'Mail' tab at the top. Click 'Add' and then 'Mail'.
